Windows NT/2000/XP/.Net FAQs, tips and miscellaneous information

Yes, I know, this is supposed to be an Exchange FAQ!  There are a number of things that I am constantly asked about with regards to Windows NT, so I thought this would be a great place to put them.

• What do all those numbers after the computer names and domain names mean in the WINS database or using NBTSTAT -A IP Address?  They are called NetBIOS Suffixes.  Read on!

• Seen a lot of different image file types?  What do all those image file extensions mean?

• Do those NET.EXE commands have you stumped? Here is a good start.
